Why is the investigation into the BI liquidity assistance (BLBI) corruption case so complicated and complex? Because the money distributed in this case has ‘contaminated' the many aspects of the life of Indonesians. "It includes the House of Representatives, media, NGOs and the organizers of demonstrations" said Drajad Wibowo, a member of Representatives from the National Mandate Party.

Along with other members Drajad signed a petition to the House of Representatives to use its right to question the government over the investigation in the BLBI case. Amrozi Will Not Be Executed Before the Ramadhan

VHRmedia, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office will postpone the execution of three convicted Bali bombers for security reasons. Previously, they planned to execute Amrozi and friends before the Ramadhan 1429 Hijriah (Islamic calendar) or in early September 2008.

Assistant attorney general for general crimes AH Ritonga said about this postponement on Wednesday (27/8). Even though he did not want to explain about main reason of the postponement, he mentioned about security problem as one of the reasons. "In fact, we close the book in Ramadhan," he said.
