Victims of human rights violations rallied in front of Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. Protesters were demanding the actors of the crimes be tried for their alleged involvements during Soeharto's time. They also asked President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Jusuf Kalla to resign if they fail to prosecute the criminals. The rally was supported by a human rights activist Suciwati, a celebrity Rieke Dyah Pitaloka, and relatives of those who suffered violation of human rights.
